Charlotte Landman is the designer and maker of CAR Designs, established in 2000, which offers bespoke items of silverware and jewellery. 

Our workshop, the Red Door Studio, is situated in Maidstone, Kent and it will be open for two weekends this year in June and December.

CAR Designs exhibits at shows both locally and throughout the South East of England. However Charlotte has four young children  and so we do not travel as far from home as we used to. A list of the events we will be attending is contained within this leaflet or see CAR Designs’ Facebook page. 

CAR Designs makes items of jewellery for everyday wear and unique pieces for that special occasion.  

CAR Designs undertakes commissions. We offer a bespoke wedding service making your rings to your specific requirements in any precious metal and jewellery for all your wedding party, both ladies and gentlemen.

CAR Designs offers a wide range of handmade silverware for those special occasions. We also make church plate and offer a repair and alteration service for these items.

We undertake commissions for commemorative pieces, for christenings, weddings, anniversaries or retirement gifts or for that special item just for you
